I would like to take this opportunity to share with you our goals and to tell you a little about Family English School Bookstore.  First and foremost, as you probably have noticed in the title, we are an English School.  We teach English to Japanese children and adults.  And although this is our main purpose, it inadequately supports our goals for our students.  That is, we want to be able to provide our student body with the latest literature available, hence we started a bookstore.

The bookstore offers an alternative (and in most cases the only option) to buying English books. Family English School Bookstore grew out of the need for good English books and materials.  Anyone familiar with Okinawa is aware that there is a limited supply of English books and materials.  It is our goal to support this need by providing the biggest selection possible with the lowest prices available.

As the need for English materials locally increases, so will our commitment. But we cannot do this alone; we need your help and support.  This service is provided to all with limited profits.  When small profits are made, they go back into the bookstore in the form of more “on hand” books.  This allows us to stock more books so that you can purchase them on the spot without waiting.  If you are looking to build a library, either professionally or in your home, please call us today and set up an appointment.

In order to better serve you we are committed to increasing this supply.  In the mean time, if there is a product that you would like, please voice your opinion to us.  I’m sure there is something we can do to help.  Remember that the more interest you show, the better our service to you will become.
